Photosynthesis.

For the past week, I have spent at least ten hours studying and memorizing the processes of photosynthesis and cellular respiration. I can draw you a diagram, tell you where in the cell each step occurs, and even trace the Carbons.

Yes, this sounds nerdy and it makes me feel like a geek- but, I promise there is more!

Learning these processes has shown to me just how intricate and complex our bodies are. Heavenly Father is a smart, smart man! We truly are divine creations as evidenced by the fact that our bodies can do such minute but critical cycles on its own.

It's amazing how everything just falls into place and works so perfectly. Life itself is a miracle.

Even though this class is a pain sometimes, I am thankful for the opportunity I have to dive deeper into the science of life and for the testimony it offers me of a loving and mindful Heavenly Father who knows everything - from how to make life function to our little, petty worries. He loves us and I can find that love in everything I do (even when studying for PD Biology).

Anyway, I'll get back to my drawing on mirrors (it helps me memorize the cycles) and you get back to enjoying your Friday night.

All I ask is that sometime you stop and think about how remarkable life truly is.

Because it really is an awesome thing.

Xoxo
