Yes, we are stereotypical college freshmen girls. Or just plain girls for that matter. And as Tabitha would say, "I like it!"
Day dreaming. Dancing. Laughing. Pigging out on desserts. Yup - we are girls.
This is the song we danced to.
Not only is it a must have for any hopeless romantic's itunes but it also is the finale song for one of my favorite movies, While You Were Sleeping.
The film of choice tonight was The Holiday - quite possibly one of the most addicting movies of all time. If you ask my mom, she will tell you that I watched it for about four days straight until she finally told me enough was enough. I can never get enough of that movie or Jude Law with his sexy, British accent and sensitive side. ;)
In high school I hated icky, mushy, gross love. It made me sick to see a couple cuddle up in public. I mean, do we all need to see that? But now I find myself thinking it's...kind of cute.
(Don't get me wrong, too much PDA continues to freaks me out. I still shout "GET A ROOM!" occasionally. Somethings never change. :) )
I think living with all girls has kind of turned me into a hopeless romantic. We watch too many chick flicks. We listen to too many Michael Buble songs (is that possible?). We talk too much about cute actors. We giggle about boys. We dream about our (far in the future) weddings. We know what names we want our future husbands to call us (mine is "Darling" - it's just so sweet, timeless, and makes ya feel like a million bucks). We even have favorite possible names for when we have kids in ten years (or scarily sooner).
We truly are the definition of stereotypical freshmen girls.
And I don't think I would have it any other way. I like it!
Xoxo
I like it! (a lot) Made me smile and laugh :) It's all too true
