Sorry that I fell off the face of the earth for a while. No worries though, thanks to my cute friend, Keltzie, I am back from the blogging world dead.
Here is my life recently:
Festival of Colors.
Enjoyed perfect spring nights with cute cousins eating pizza on the trampoline.
North Carolina friends came to spend the weekend.
Trees in blossom.
April Fools'. ;)
A trip up to Salt Lake for General Conference.
Creepy notes in chemistry.
The Notebook night with some cute Tingey gals.
Blossoms holding snow.
Three (yes, THREE) strikes in a row.
Planning reunions.
Free cotton candy, t-shirt, popcorn, and sunglasses in Brigham Square as well as an awkward interaction with a very sexy sax man.
Reflecting over the past year and how much I am going to miss the classic, Tingey Hall.
New favorite song.
Recently, more than ever, I have realized how funny life really is. Sometimes, I can't help but laugh at the dumb things that happen to me on a regular basis. An example is a short conversation I had with a guy on campus today. Here it goes:
Me and Keltzie loaded with freebies and wanting a picture with our cotton candy (see above, we're cute).
Me: (to random guy in line) Hey, do you mind taking a picture for us?
*suddenly realize that he is this way cute Saxophonist I had seen in a couple concerts and played a really good solo in my Music 101 class last semester.*
Sexy Sax Man: Sure. Just push this button? Do you want the background?
Me: Wait, do you play the saxophone?
Sexy Sax Man: Uh, yeah...?
Me: I've seen you a couple times! Wait, sorry if this is weird for you...
Sexy Sax Man: Ha...ha...
*takes picture*
Me: Well, thanks Sax Man!
*walk away slightly disappointed in his lack of stature*
Keltzie: I can't take you anywhere.
Me: I don't know why my mouth says stuff like that sometimes.
*palm to the face*
This is my life.
It can be clumsy.
It can be challenging.
It can be exhausting.
It can be awkward.
But overall, I think it's pretty great.
Do you have any moments that make you stop and laugh at yourself?
After all, I am a firm believer that laughter is the best medicine.
Xoxo

hahahahahaha!!

Sax man---oh my gosh so funny I could NOT believe you said that, at least we got a picture!
I am so glad that I have you around to do fun stuff with me and witness the atrocity that is my life around cute boys. ;)
