A lot.

A lot happened this year to say the least. Looking back on all that has happened, it is hard to believe that it has only been a year. At this time last year, I was a high school Senior just trying to pass AP Calculus and waiting for my college acceptance letters. Now I am a college Freshman living 2,000 miles away from home on my own.
This year I didn't go to school for a week because of snow, got my wisdom teeth taken out, threw up during my AP Calculus exam because of said wisdom teeth (calculus exam + sick from wisdom teeth = bad, bad combo), was accepted at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, was accepted at Brigham Young University, turned down UNC and accepted BYU (best decision ever!), said goodbye to a very cute boy, tomé español, was on a county committee, studied European History and the brain, goofed off in videography, danced the night(s) away, strengthened my testimony on my Savior Jesus Christ, babysat (a lot), got a puppy (!!!), dated a cowboy, went to concerts, watched friends leave for missions, watched friends return with honor, got my Young Women's Medallion, got into all the schools I applied to, applied for so  many scholarships, got scholarships, ran multiple clubs, almost died from stress of said clubs, served others, moved up to Relief Society, toilet papered a car, set life long goals, applied and received housing for college (I love Tingey Hall!), freaked out about going to college, fell asleep in class, fell in love with a swimmer, went to Colorado for Spring Break, wrote a movie, helped with the Senior Video, went to prom, did the whole Senior Awards Day thing, helped design our yearbook, got lost on the way to graduation, graduated, swam all summer long, packed up my life in four suitcases, moved 2,000 miles away, went to Yellowstone, said the hardest goodbyes, moved into a dorm, went to my first college classes, stressed, went on dates, went to Carolina in my mind, decided a major, laughed a lot with my roommates, spent Thanksgiving in Utah, conquered my first set of finals, passed my first semester with an acceptable GPA, flew home, spent Christmas in Carolina, saw my best friends again, and laughed my way all the way until the end of 2011. I am sure that I did much more this year, but for now, I think this is a solid list of the adventures I was fortunate to take part in this year. 2011 - you were good to me.

Wish you all the best for this upcoming year,

Xoxo
