Hello everyone!
This week was really hard. In all aspects. I am trying to think of something fun that happened but it really was just a lot of hot days in the sun with no one wanting to hear our message. I know I will have weeks like this and am thankful for the things I learned during this week. I know they will help me become a better missionary and appreciate the good times.
During this week, I have learned about The Lord's awareness of us and His want for us to be happy. I know that one of the purposes of this life is to be happy! Even when I am dripping sweat and all I hear is "no", I know The Lord is watching out for me and wanting the best. I am looking forward to a new week and a new opportunity to work hard again!
The main reason that this week was so hard was that we didn't get to work nearly as hard as I would like. I like to go-go-go and just work but with my companion's hurt foot, we have been slowed down majorly. I am praying that this week we will encounter those looking for our message and we will get to work again! Also, our baptism for the 22nd did not go to church yesterday so we will have to rescedule.
I know God hears and answers our prayers. It is funny how He works! Sometimes I will pray for something and the answer will come in a way I never expected. I am so thankful for the opportunity that we have to pray and to talk with our Father in Heaven. I know He is there and listening. He wants to hear from us!
I hope you all are having a wonderful week! I wanted to send pictures but my companion just broke my SD card...so...pray for me! I am looking forward to transfers next week...
